Guest Room One
The guest bedroom area is up a half flight of stairs from the main family room area. This large room easily accommodates a king-sized bed with room for a desk and dresser and is serviced by a long closet accessed by a double door and a single door. There is additional "long-term storage" above the closet due to the high ceiling, accessed by magnetic removable wood doors. The room is lit by an original architectural window cut into the roof and side wall and finished with a modernist wood trim reminiscent of Rudolph Schindler’s designs. The main wall light is a Serge Mouille “spider sconce” with 3 pivoting lamp heads. A Le Corbusier “La Roche” sconce and a Jacques Biny lamp round out the room's lighting.
